The Amman Citadel 安曼城堡 – located in the heart of modern-day Amman, is an impressive site that helps tell the story of this region’s layered heritage. It is also the site of one of ACOR’s most impactful undertakings to date: the excavation and partial restoration of the Great Temple of Amman, also known as the Temple of Hercules.

The King Abdullah Mosque 阿卜杜拉国王清真寺 – was built between 1982 and 1989. It is capped by a magnificent blue mosaic dome beneath which 3,000 Muslims may offer prayer.

Amman Roman Theater 安曼罗马剧场 – is a well-preserved 2nd-century Roman amphitheater located in downtown Amman, Jordan. This historic site could hold up to 6,000 spectators and is still used today for cultural events and performances.

Madaba – is an ancient town in Jordan, southwest of the capital Amman. It’s known for its 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George.

Mount Nebo – is a sacred mountain in Jordan standing almost 1,000 meters high. The base of the mountain can be reached within 15 minutes by car from the center of Madaba. From the top of the mountain, visitors can see The Dead Sea, Bethlehem and even Jerusalem on a clear day.

You will begin an unforgettable trip on the horseback till the Siq then by foot through the narrow passage between the massive walls of rock that provides the main access to the ancient site. Entering Petra through this chasm till we reach our first glimpse of the Treasury, whose towering façade bedecked with magnificent columns was made famous in the final sequence of the popular Hollywood film /Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Little Petra 小佩特拉 – also known as Siq al-Barid (literally “the cold canyon”) is an archaeological site located north of Petra and the town of Wadi Musa in the Ma’an Governorate of Jordan.

Wadi Rum – the largest and most magnificent of Jordan desert “Lawrence Of Arabia”desert. The only desert in Jordan with plenty of things to do. Wadi Rum is visitor friendly and easy to access from the city of Aqaba. From leisurely walks to adrenaline fuelled adventures, there are lots of things to do in the Jordanian desert.

The Aqaba Castle or Aqaba Fort – also known as the Mamluk Castle of Aqaba, Jordan, is a Mamluk and Ottoman fortified caravanserai on the pilgrimage route to Mecca and Medina which, in its current form, dates back mainly to the 16th century. In the century preceding the First World War, it was used to a larger degree as a military stronghold.

The Dead Sea – also known by other names, is a Salt Lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and the West Bank to the west. It lies in the Jordan Rift Valley, and its main tributary is the Jordan River. The lake’s surface is 424 metres below sea level, making its shores the lowest land-based elevation on Earth.

Kerak Castle – is a large Crusader fortress in Jordan, known for its impressive medieval architecture and strategic hilltop location overlooking the surrounding valleys. Built in the 12th century, it played a key role in the Crusades and offers panoramic views.
